Seed to bar, in five stages
Five chapters. One unforgettable experience.
Move through the real process in order—guided in person by our family, 100% hands-on from fresh tree to finished bar.
Chapter One • Living Farm
Walk the Organic Cacao Orchard
The journey begins with a walk through the organic cacao farm. Discover living cacao trees growing alongside tropical fruit and spices, guided in person through the rich tropical ecosystem that supplies every single bar we craft.
Chapter Two • The Fresh Pod
Open & Taste Fresh Cacao Fruit
Harvest and open a fresh cacao pod straight from the tree with your own hands. Taste the sweet, tangy white pulp surrounding the raw beans and experience where real chocolate flavor originates before roasting.
Chapter Three • Ancient Craft
Traditional Volcanic Stone Metate
Roast cacao beans over an open flame and hand-grind them on an authentic volcanic-stone metate. Use traditional recipes to prepare two ancestral Costa Rican chocolate drinks in a 100% hands-on stone grinding ritual.
Chapter Four • Custom Creation
Mold & Decorate Your Chocolate Bar
Temper, mold, and decorate your own custom chocolate bar using artisanal toppings, sea salt, spices, and local ingredients. This personalized keepsake is crafted by your hands to take home after the tour.
Chapter Five • Farm Finale
Traditional Trapiche & Cane Juice
While your chocolate bar sets, gather around the farm’s traditional trapiche mill. Press fresh sugarcane stalks and savor the sweet juice straight from the press.
